Board Members Present: Dan Macioce, Bill Rumcik, Ryan Fulmer, Autumn Favero, Stephanie Embry, Shawn Lafferty, Tom Gentile, Justin Stephans, Kirk Rhoades, Matt Desantis, Eric Seigh, Joe Bonazza, Amy Seigh, Justin Pifer, Adam Walker Absent: None Quorum present? Yes
Proceedings Call to Order Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President, Dan Macioce. Last month’s meeting minutes were previously approved via email.
Finance
We were down in players and tournament profits Net Profit of $4795 up slightly from last year We have $33K in cash from now to end of Feb We need to find a way to sell the excess field dry, conditioner and clay We payed roughly 11K in conditioner this year The proposed new infields will cost $7K for all 8 fields and would not require any additional conditioner The price of the Marco Clay is $7k and the boro may pay $5k of it because they usually give us $5k for conditioner that we will not need We have a proposal for $1360 for sod and $1360 to fix the lips on a few fields. The board voted on it and it passed unanimously
Field Report
Tom Schohn has resigned as the Director of Field Maintenance Shawn Lafferty has been appointed the Director of Field Maintenance The backstop on field 6 should be done in December There is a possibility the boro may insulate the bathrooms by the pavilion and keep them open all year We may get the dugouts on field 7 & 8 replaced next year.
Baseball
Justin Pifer has been appointed as the Tball Rep Adam Walker has been appointed as the Jr. Baseball Rep
Softball
Justin Stephans has been appointed the Director of Softball We need new reps for all softball leagues. Most reps have said they can’t help out next year. Eric may be able to be a rep for one league if we need him to.
General Operations Registration will open on Jan 2nd and close on Feb 28th We will look to advertise in the Advanced Leader and FB Practice will start on March 31st Rookie will start games on 4/21 and tball on 4/22 Kirk is going to finalize the schedule for tournament dates Dan is going to ask Dave about securing dates for having an in person registration at St. Johns Motions
Dan is asking for $7,000 to pay for the Marco Clay for the fields so that we can move that project forward before next years budget is approved. o Vote passed unanimously Dan also asked for $1360 for sod and $1360 to fix the lips on a few fields o Vote passed unanimously
