What We’re Looking For As a member of the Park Operations department you will join a dedicated team whose primary responsibility is to ensure an outstanding experience is given to all Guests. The role includes the safe and efficient operation of all duties ensuring Guests receive the warmest of welcomes and experience the ‘magic of Christmas’. This is a challenging role that requires the very best customer service skills in a challenging and pressurised environment.
What You’ll Need
The ability to deliver an outstanding level of service by interacting to a high level and fulfilling the character role at all times. You will need to be pleasant, outgoing and of a jolly disposition with the ability to lead and control the whole experience. The capacity to deliver good results within an agreed timeframe and inspire others to focus on achieving good results and targets. Able to actively contribute to the team. Must be able to adapt to and work effectively in different situations and cope with challenging situations, listen to feedback and remain calm under pressure. Previous acting experience is not required; however we welcome additional skills or experience.
What You’ll be Doing
Welcoming Guests and delivering an outstanding, magical guest experience. Interacting with Guests of all ages once they have experienced the Christmas Wonderland journey with assistance from our Elves. Working to fixed schedules and managing time effectively. Prepare the assigned work area and costumes at the start of the day and ensure that you are fully conversant with the operation, procedures and rules. Ensure that the area is ready to receive guests i.e. it is clean, seating is dry and the area is litter free. Ensure costumes are stored safely and correctly, checking for cleanliness/ damage or general wear at the end of each day and reporting defects to the management team
When You’ll Be Doing It
This is a seasonal position. Our Christmas Attraction is open weekends from mid-November plus selected weekdays in December, please refer to the Christmas literature for exact opening days. Paultons Park Ltd |HR

The hours of work will normally be a start time of 9am finishing around 6pm. There is a break of half an hour for lunch with regular breaks during the day. A rota of working days will be prepared in advance so it is important you communicate any days you are not available to work to your Manager.
What You’ll Get
