The Vendor’s View We initially loved the the layout of the house; we knew it would really work for us for entertaining. The kitchen is especially great for social evenings but has the added bonus of a separate dining room. One of the must haves for us was a second bedroom with an ensuite. Now that one of us works from home, the study really comes in handy. As the house is in a cul-de-sac, we don't get any traffic passing and it’s therefore very safe for children. Our favourite room is the lounge, as we have recently modernised it to create a contemporary feel and give access to our outdoor entertaining area. The house is situated in ideal location for the local Herne Bay school and sports academy. A local shop, fish bar and hairdresser are only a 5 minute walk away. We love the fact we are out of town, but only walking distance to the train station to go to Whitstable or Faversham restaurants or a day trip to London. We are also only a 20 minute walk to the seafront. We will so miss our hot tub and outside kitchen as we entertain a lot with our extended patio area in the south-facing garden. There is nothing we like doing more than relaxing in the hot tub after a hard day’s work with a glass of wine, whilst watching the local wildlife and having a steak cooking outside. Our friends love coming round!
