Portal Winauth Instructions These instructions explain how to use WinAuth for Windows with the Portal’s 2 factor authentication. Go to the WinAuth downloads page and click on the link to the latest version. If asked if you want to download the file, click “yes” or “ok”.
Find the file that you just downloaded, right click on it, and click “Extract All”
In the window that opens, select where you want to unpack the application to and click “Extract”.
Open the folder you just extracted the files to (the folder in the previous step), and double click “WinAuth.exe” to open the app.
This is why we use Google authenticator . Click add, then select “Google”. Give it a name such as “Portal”, and enter the code provided on the portal.
Enter the verification code provided by Google Authenticator (you will have to do this every time you log on):
into the 2 Factor Authentication box where it says “Enter Code” and hit VERIFY:
Once you receive your email telling you that you have been approved and activated, you can login again and start using the portal. You can edit your profile and change your password and contact information from the “Settings” menu.
