Position: Entry Level Engineer Description: Looking for an energetic person to perform structural engineering and some drafting services in a growing Central Valley firm. Our firm is currently involved with commercial & residential structural engineering projects in a wide variety of industries. Projects span from residential remodels to three-story seismic retrofits. If you are hardworking and enjoy a challenge, you may be the right candidate. Candidate Requirements: - BS Degree in Structural Engineering - Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Google Sheets / Docs, Revit and CAD - Strong math skills - Interpretation of construction and design drawings Preferred Experience/Certifications: - FE is a plus - 1-2 years of Revit drafting experience - 2-3 years of Commercial and Residential Construction Projects - General understanding of construction techniques in wood, steel, masonry and concrete - Experience in wood, steel and concrete design Personal Skills: - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Eager to learn - Effective communicator - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner - Ability to work overtime, as needed Great opportunity, fun atmosphere and lots of room to grow.
