Pray for Ministries of White Rock Baptist Church We are empowered by God and entrusted with the future of White Rock Baptist Church. Let’s pray continually for leaders of/disciples in each ministry. …pray for one another… James 5:16
Ask God to help us to: 1. PRAY CONTINUALLY. (Eph. 6:18, 1 Thess. 5:16-19 and 1 Tim. 2:8) Make prayer a priority before we plan, as we plan, as we serve, and after we serve. Make “Pray First” our habit personally, and keep it top priority on our ministry to-do list. Bible fed and Holy Spirit led prayers cause us to seek God’s heart and do what glorifies God.
2. STUDY THE HOLY BIBLE. (Psalm 119:105 and 2 Tim. 2:15) The Word of God is infallible, complete, authoritative, and sufficient for all our needs. Read Scripture daily and at the beginning of our meetings. Let the Bible guide our discussions/lives.
3. BE FILLED AND LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. (Gal. 5:19-26 and Eph. 5:15-20) If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Be taught and reminded by the Holy Spirit.
4. ACT LIKE A DISCIPLE OF JESUS. (Rom. 12 and Rom. 13) Commit to a lifestyle of serving Christ, which requires your body as a living sacrifice. Respect authority. Love our neighbors. Put on the whole armor of God. Give thanks in all circumstances.
5. STAND STRONG AND FIRM IN THE LORD. (Eph. 6:10-18 and 2 Tim. 2:1-13) Keep the Bible central to all we do. Emulate Christ Jesus. Make ineffective what the ungodly seek to have us to believe and do. Participate in Bible study/Sunday school. Hear/do the Word.
6. INCREASE UNITY. (Acts 4:32-37 and Eph. 4:1-16) Collaborate and come to agreement. Hold each other accountable for godly actions. Keep each other focused on WRBC’s mission and our specific ministry goals. Focus on what we, the body of Christ, have in common, as opposed to differences. Unite in the Holy Spirit. Bind with peace.
7. COMMIT TO EVANGELISM. (Psalm 71:7-8 and Matt. 5:13-16) Watch and pray daily for the unsaved who need to know/experience Christ. Live/tell your story.
8. IMPACT OUR COMMUNITIES DIVINELY. (Mark 16:15-20 and 1 Cor. 12:27-31) Prepare and provide Bible-based answers/services that only the body of Christ can provide. bfa.wrbc.prayerministry.nov.2016
