WHITE ROCK BAPTIST CHURCH GLORY TO GOD CAPAIGN “The church must maintain our relevance in a constantly changing society and culture. Therefore, church facility expansion should be among our highest priorities as a congregation.” Pastor Reginald Van Stephens RECOMMENDED PLAN FOR CHURCH EXPANSION For several years, the church has been in prayer concerning a church facility expansion designed to meet our goals. After much prayer, study, deliberation, site visits, input from members of the congregation, and consultation with our architects, the Glory to God Campaign Committee recommends the design plan on display here. Here are some highlights of the plan: PHASE ONE: UPPER LEVEL  The current sanctuary and vestibule will remain the same  Large atrium entryway at the front of the church  Administrative offices near the new front entry  Modernize/renovate existing classrooms and meeting spaces and add new classrooms  New choir suite on the sanctuary level located behind the baptism area  New and renovated restrooms  New "Conference Auditorium" used for congregational fellowship and events  New warming kitchen  Additional parking spaces in the front of the church PHASE ONE: LOWER LEVEL  New lobby entrance from rear parking lot with new elevator, wide staircase, and drop-off overhang for inclement weather  Upgraded and expanded CDC for infant care and added enrollment  New suite for Teen Ministry  Existing fellowship hall transformed into "Kid's Place" for middlers and children, with a small patio and stairs to upper level  New location for an expanded nursery  Upgrade to existing kitchen PHASE TWO:  Multi-purpose full-size gym and event center (not shown)
