Sew-ology Gazette January 2016
Dear Material Girl,
Happy New Year! As the holiday season wraps up and hopefully the colder weather will arrive soon, we are all ready to retreat to our sewing and craft rooms for the winter. We hope that Santa brought you everything on your list this year! And if not, treat yourself to something new. Wendy and Grady are doing great. They are out and about now so you may run into them one day at the store. We wanted to welcome all of our new Bernina Sewing Machine owners to the Material Girls and Bernina Family! January is what we like to call Bernina Boot Camp Month. If you recently purchased a Bernina from Material Girls and have not taken the time to learn how to use your machine to the its fullest potential, now is the time! Please take a moment to squeeze these classes into your schedule this month. We ask that you take your mastery classes within the first 6 months of purchasing your machines and/or software. If these dates are not conducive to your schedule this month, a new series will begin each month. Be sure when you register for classes that we have the most up to date email and phone number in case of inclement weather. We will notify you via email and/or phone messages as soon as a decision has been made and we don’t want you to miss an important message. Always call first before traveling to us if there is any doubt. We also change the store voicemail if there is any question about if we are delaying opening or closing for the day. Thank you for your continued support and keep on sewing, Amy, Robin, and Mike

Pre Cut Stash Invasion Join us in our crusade to bust down that pre cut stash Suit your style with different projects, brilliantly organized by the cut of fabric, throughout the year. Make the most of fat quarters, fat eighths, 5in and 10in squares, and 2-1/2in strips. Enjoy specially selected designs that are ideal for pre-cut fabrics—or for cutting your stash down to size. All the projects are great for beginners to advanced levels. We will meet for the day for a lesson and a sew-in so you can have a great start on completing the project.
