San Francisco to Napa Ferry to Train & Wine Tasting Tours Why drive to the Napa Valley? Allow us to introduce a car-free alternative. Visit Napa Valley without driving by using the Wine Train’s Bay Tour. Start at the San Francisco Ferry Building at 8:30 am, then travel by BayLink ferry/bus (schedule depending) to Vallejo. In Vallejo, a private shuttle for Wine Train guests will be waiting to transport you to Napa. Reservations are required at least one day in advance. You can experience any of the Wine Train's lunch or winery tour packages. Then enjoy an afternoon to yourself in downtown Napa, a great place for wine tasting, shopping or spa treatments. Catch the shuttle back to Vallejo in time for the evening ferry to San Francisco.
