Two Suspects Arrested in Separate Cases of Indecent Exposure

Manhattan Beach, CA, 90266
On October 10, 2017, the Manhattan Beach Police Department was dispatched to the 1200 block of Artesia Blvd. in regard to a suspect masturbating in a blue Chrysler 300. When the officers arrived, they were unable to locate the suspect. On October 11, 2017 the Manhattan Beach Police Department was dispatched to 3600 N. Sepulveda Blvd. (Manhattan Village Mall) in regard to a suspect masturbating in a blue vehicle. When officers arrived, they located the suspect in a blue Chrysler 300. Edward Gwon Kennon of Harbor City was arrested and booked at the MBPD jail for indecent exposure. Kennon was also positively identified as the suspect from the previous day in the 1200 block of Artesia Blvd. Also on October 11, 2017, in an unrelated case, the Manhattan Beach Police Department arrested Juan Manuel Hernandez, of Hermosa Beach, for indecent exposure. MBPD detectives were given information by a witness who observed Hernandez masturbating inside a red Ford Ranger on two separate occasions. Hernandez was seen by a witness masturbating in his vehicle in the 1200 block of Redondo Ave. and on the 405 freeway. After conducting an investigation into these two crimes, Hernandez was arrested and booked at the MBPD jail for indecent exposure.
