PRESS RELEASE Sir Tom Baker Bespoke Tailoring was founded by Tom Baker in 1996. After training with Hardy Amies (Savile Row) for 5 years, Tom set up his own studio in the heart of Soho, London. It was at Hardy Amies that Tom was taught to cut and fit in the most classical English manner. This talent combined with natural design flair has put him at the forefront of modern British tailoring. He is equally comfortable making a business suit for a stockbroker, a groom’s suit for his big day or a stage suit for a rock’n roll band. He is well known for innovation within the profession and has indeed developed his own Soho-cut. This cut has attracted a wide ranging clientele which includes James Corden, Noel Fielding, Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Rhys Ifans, Eliot Sumner (I Blame Coco), etc. It is Tom’s rock’n roll sensibility combined with considerable tailoring technique that has formed his reputation and individuality within the industry and public alike.
