Primary lithium battery system BA 5598/U and BA 5598 A/U 15 V/3 V Primary lithium sulfur dioxide (Li-SO2 ) battery The battery consists of 5 LO25SX cells connected in series with a tap at one cell providing an overall section of 15 V with a 3 V tap open circuit voltage.

Key Features

■ A non-replaceable 3 A fuse is incorporated in both the ground and 3 V outputs ■ A normally closed high temperature one-shot thermal fuse is incorporated on the ground output ■ A diode is incorporated on into the overall 15 V positive output ■ A constant discharge device (CDD) consisting of a manually activated pull tab and resistor is incorporated to permit discharge of the battery to 0 V for disposal ■ Alternative configurations such as no CDD are available. Consult factory.
