OSU two-deep Offense
OSU story lines 1. Bouncing back OSU responded to its first defeat with a 59-17 rout of Iowa State at home. Now, the Cowboys will be asked to bounce back from a much tougher loss in a more difficult situation at Colorado. Still, the Cowboys have been dominant in games they were favored to win, and they’re more than two-touchdown favorites this week. 2. Dez TD-less away from home OSU sophomore receiver Dez Bryant has yet to catch a touchdown pass or go over 100 receiving yards on the road this season. In fact, the only two touchdowns away from Boone Pickens Stadium in his career came in last year’s Insight Bowl last December. And that day, the Cowboys were wearing their orange home jerseys. 3. Homecoming Playing a game in his home state of Colorado for the first time during his college career, Zac Robinson is ready to give a strong performance for the locals. But Colorado leads the Big 12 in pass defense, allowing only 213.8 yards per game.
Player to watch: Kendall Hunter, OSU RB As much as Robinson might want to show off for his friends and family, Hunter is more likely to have the big day for the Cowboy offense. Colorado’s defense isn’t bad, but its biggest weakness is stopping the run, having allowed nearly 160 yards per game.
