Procedure to print from Ipad
Procedure to print from Ipad NOTE: You can only print color pages from Ipad. Black & white printing is not available. Step 1: Click on the App Store icon on your Ipad. See below.
You have to download a free app called Discovery- Bonjour browser. It’s a free app and can be downloaded using your Apple ITunes account.
Open the application after downloading which will detect the available printers in the network.
: Step 2: To install paper cut client on ipad, open safari browser and type as shown below.
Click on Install to download the client.
Step 3: Once Installed. Open the paper cut app and key in your userid(jsmith2013) and password(first 5 digits on back of your printer card) as shown below. Once logged in, you can now print any document from Ipad.
Step 4: To take a print out of an email, see the below screen shot.
After you select Print, the below box appears. This gives you an option to select the printer. You can select any printer from the list.
Then click on Print, as shown below. Make sure Double-sided is OFF
You will get the below message to confirm the print operation.
Step 5: Right after you give a print command, go back to the paper cut app and you will see the below message, which shows that your document was successfully sent to the printer
You can also see your wallet and print history by opening the paper cut app. See below.
Step 6: To collect your print out, flash your Access card on the scanner attached to the printer. This will automatically log you in the printer and show you the jobs waiting in your queue. In the picture below the document name is Untitled Notepad.
Select the document you want to print and then click on Print.
You see the below message if you have no document waiting in the queue.
