Brick House Vineyards produces estate grown wines from the three great varietals of Burgundy: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamay Noir. Their vineyards have been Certified Organic since 1990 and Demeter Biodynamic since 2005. In what was once the farm's horse barn, they produce about 3,800 cases in accordance with both standards - native yeast fermentations and minimal handling to produce wines that are both elegant and profound in their simplicity. All the Brick House wines are produced and bottled by hand on their 40 acre farm. They count on indigenous yeast fermentations and rarely fine (and never filter) their wines. Supple, spicy, polished and toasty, offering well-formed pear, peach and freshly turned earth flavors. Harmonious on the quiet finish. Drink now through 2018. 300 cases made.

The Nine North Wine Company is a unique portfolio of small handcrafted wines from Napa Valley as well as California's North Coast appellation that specialize in offering exceptional quality, worth and value. The portfolio can usually be found in fine wine shops and restaurants around the country. The name Parcel 41 is derived from the original agriculture land assessor's plot number for our original ranch in Napa Valley, California which supplied the fruit for our inaugural vintage in 2005. In the ensuing years we have looked beyond our borders to source the most perfect fruit from small vineyard plots that, because of varying weather conditions, yield superior grapes in a given year. With this practice we are able to continue to offer you consummate varietals of the vintage at modest prices when compared to similar Napa Valley wines. The Parcel 41 Merlot shines ruby red in the glass, with shimmering purple undertones. The nose is dark and alluring, with aromas of black currant, saddle leather, and milk chocolate, with a subtle and delicate floral note. The mouth is soft and substantial, with round, mouth-filling tannins layering smoothly with the densely packed flavors of chocolate-covered cherries, spicy black plum, and smoky espresso.

This alluring wine displays a dark inky-purple color and head-turning aromas of blackberry, currant and ripe plum. On the palate, the texture is big and juicy, with velvety tannins and voluptuous flavors of dark berries and crème de cassis, as well as layers of saddle leather, sweet oak and spice. VINEYARDS Stuhlmuller Vineyards is located at the southern edge of the Alexander Valley, where it converges with two other highly regarded Sonoma County appellations, Chalk Hill and the Russian River Valley. On its eastern edge, the 150-acre vineyard borders the Russian River. Situated in a location that is part river benchlands and part hillside, the vineyard benefits from its alluvial gravel soils and the more rocky soils of the hillside sections.
