Program Organizer A Rally Cats program organizer can be a parent, teaching pro, park and recreation provider, or someone who is just passionate about growing tennis! There are no limitations on who can provide this great program and the best part, no tennis experience is required! USTA Arkansas will provide a volunteer training prior to the start of the program AND provide the Rally Cats curriculum.

Purpose of the Program To provide an opportunity for ALL areas and communities to offer the sport of a lifetime. We want it to be easy to implement and easy to sell!

Target Audience This program is ideal for Park and Rec. departments, areas with limited court availability, small towns without tennis specific facilities, or facilities looking for a beginner program. The curriculum is designed for 4-10 year olds.

What’s provided?   

 

Junior USTA Memberships for new players Marketing Materials (Flyers/Yard Signs) Equipment for the program o Pop Up Nets (2) o Racquets (24) *As needed o Foam and Red Felt Balls (2 dozen each) Online registration process On-Court training for organizer and volunteers

Responsibilities of Provider:    

Booking courts for program dates with appropriate facility Distribution of marketing materials and promotion of program Ensure a volunteer coach to player ratio of 4:1 Serve as lead instructor for the program or find an individual to serve as the lead instructor
