GASSEL SUPPORTS GIRL SCOUT’S TRIBUTE TO ACHIEVEMENT DINNER CHICAGO, IL, MARCH 16, 2017 – Paul Gassel, Managing Partner of WWM Investments, was pleased to help sponsor the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwestern Indiana (GSGCNWI) Tribute to Achievement Dinner. This is the second year Gassel has supported the GSGCNWI event. The annual Tribute to Achievement Dinner celebrates the accomplishments of business, civic and community leaders while highlighting the important work of GSGCNWI. Proceeds generated help GSGCNWI expand its programs and enrich the lives of young women in the area. The event raises necessary funds so that all girls can participate in Girl Scouts no matter their background; girls can go to camp; and girls can participate in meaningful STEM, financial literacy and healthy living programming. The evening showcases the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and provides funding for programs that prepare girls for careers in science, technology, engineering, math, environmental sciences, entrepreneurship, healthy living, arts, culture and global awareness. “I was pleased to be a sponsor for such a great event supporting the young women in our community,” says Gassel.
The fundraising dinner, which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, had more than 540 in attendance and raised more than $650,000 in support of programing.
