He is a dual threat as a runner (604 yards, six touchdowns) and receiver (43 receptions, 392 yards). Nazarian and Gagnon both saw time in the backfield in their first season with the Red Foxes last year. Wright is working his way back from injury, while Witowski and Jordan red-shirted as freshmen. ide receiver Position Coach: Marc Bourque Returning Starters: Lawrence Dickens, Juston Christian Returners: Joe Petro, Anthony Olivencia, Isaiah Watson, Stanley Perry, Melvin Forkpa, Ethan Carpenter, Christian Keenan, Jordan Garofalo, Bryan Bradshaw, Matt Millea Newcomers: David Shannon III, Maximillian Cepeda, Corey Mullaly Christian returns for his junior year as one of the most dynamic receivers in the FCS. He has ranked in the top five of the FCS in yards per reception in each of the last two seasons (first as a freshman, fifth as a sophomore). Dickens has increased his production as a wide receiver every season, and is a big-play threat as a kickoff returner as well. Keenan and Olivencia both contributed big plays last season, as they saw increased action as the season went on. Watson is one of the Red Foxes’ top special teams players. Millea, Garofalo, and Bradshaw saw action last season. Forkpa is making the switch from tight end. Perry and Carpenter did not see action as true freshmen last year. Shannon, Cepeda, and Mullaly join the team this season.

The Red Foxes return plenty of productivity in this area. Delatour led the Red Foxes in sacks last season and was named PFL & ECAC Defensive Rookie of the Year. Taylor started at defensive end last season, while Zinn-Turner provided disruptive plays while seeing plenty of action at nose tackle. Soriano and McGinley are both in their fourth seasons with the program. Hroncich saw action at end after beginning his collegiate career at linebacker. Goodson, Townsend, and Crowe have yet to see game action. Abill, Copeland, Gordon, Katcher, and Carey join the program as freshmen.

Coordinator: Clarence Johnson Position Coach: Tom Kelly Returning Starter: Nick Mecca Returners: Joseph Giglio, Chris Apicella, Mateo Zapata Newcomer: Joe Giordano The Red Foxes are looking to replace Mike Maccarone, who handled most of the placekicking and punting duties for the last three years and departed Marist as the program’s all-time leader in kicker scoring. The team has also lost kickoff specialist Ryan Spaulding, who received his degree in three years. Giglio, a four-year member of the program, and Zapata, who did not see action as a freshman last year, will vie for the kicking and punting duties. Mecca is one of the PFL’s top long snappers. Apicella provides depth at long snapper and sees other action on special teams. Giordano is a true freshman long snapper. Wide receiver Anthony Olivencia is also competing for time at punter and kickoff specialist, and is the team’s primary holder entering the season.
