QUICK GUIDE TO BUILDING YOUR RAZOO PAGE Please note that the directions for setting up your page have changed from last year.
Set Up Your Nonprofit Page on Razoo for Give Where You Live IMPORTANT: You must be registered online with Give Where You Live and received an email from the Kearney Area Community Foundation approving your nonprofit organization before proceeding with building your page. For more information on registering, see www.kearneyfoundation.org or the Nonprofit Toolkit found on GiveWhereYouLive.Razoo.com. In order to set up your nonprofit page on Razoo, please visit www.razoo.com. Create a personal account with your name and email address (or login using your existing account). You may use your login from last year; however, the page creation instructions have changed. Go to the Kearney Area Community Foundation’s Razoo page: http://www.razoo.com/story/Kearney‐Area‐Community‐Foundation and click on Get Started located in the Fundraise for this Cause box on the lower right side of the page. Enter a name for your fundraiser (please provide the name of your organization or program) and click Start Fundraising. Please limit your organization to one fundraising page. When you have successfully signed up your fundraiser, you will receive a confirmation email from Razoo. Click on Edit Page in the upper right corner. Click on Tell Your Story under Cause Setup. Summary: Add your mission statement or overview of your organization (limit 140 characters). Tell Your Story: Use this space to educate the community about your organization, inspire donors to make a donation and spark an interest for a continued relationship. Make sure to tell your donors how you touch people in daily life and explain the difference your organization or program makes in your community (limit ~5,000 characters). Click Save. Click on Illustrate Your Story under Cause Setup. Click on Choose File under Add Images. Upload photos from your computer or mobile device. Photos must be 5MB or smaller. You will be able to arrange the order of your photos after uploading. If you would like to post a video from YouTube or Vimeo, paste the web address in the box provided under Add Videos. Click Save. Click on Set Your Goals under Cause Setup. Goal Amount: Provide a goal amount (Note: you may leave the goal blank). When typing in the number, omit commas and dollar signs (example: 10000, not $10,000). Set an End Date for the campaign (do not end before December 5, 2014). Providing an end date of December 4 will cause your page to close at midnight EST rather than midnight CST. Chose a fund Designation. The designation will default to “General Fund”. If you would like to create your own fund name, click Other and you will be prompted to name a new designation (example: New Field Fund). Click Save. Click on Customize Donor Thank‐You’s under Cause Setup. Post a link to your Donation Thank You Video if you wish to show a video to those who donate. Compose a personal message to include in your Donation Thank You Email. Click Save. Click on Share It With Others under Cause Setup. Use the web address to direct donors to your organization’s Razoo page. Use the Status Widgets on your organization’s website or Facebook page. See the Nonprofit Toolkit for instructions on Using the Razoo Donation Widget or Using Razoo’s Facebook Widget. Compose a personal message to include in your Donation Thank You Email. Click Save.
