Great for gifts or decorating your own home PLUS they are “quilt as you go!” Jan’s pick : Hex and More Ruler Such a versatile ruler! Make Atkinson’s Designs Dovetail pattern or make traditional hexy quilts in multiple sizes. The ruler makes cutting SO easy! Evelyn’s pick : Creative Grids 6 1/2” square ruler Built in grippers, easy to read and also has a 45 degree mark for squaring up half square triangles. My ‘go to’ ruler! Della’s pick : Fiskars Curved Scissors 4.5” Not new, but I truly couldn’t live without these scissors. The points are curved up so you can trim threads uber close without ever worrying about the tips cutting the fabric. Follow us on Facebook and Pinterest. This year each shop will be selling two collectible fabric panels with coordinating ‘Grunge’ by Moda fabrics. All six of the blocks coordinate and the challenge for next year will be to create one or multiple projects using at least 3 of the blocks (1 from each shop) and coordinating Grunge fabrics.
Hours and Dates for the 2015 Shop Hop are: 8am-8pm—Saturday, Sept. 19 12pm-5pm—Sunday, Sept. 20 9:30-5:30—Monday, Sept. 21 9:30am-8pm—Tuesday, Sept. 22 Hope to see you all on the “trail of fabric!”
