CLASS SKILL LEVELS Beginner~You must know your sewing machine. Basic skills will be taught.

If you are unable to attend a class and give us 10 days notice, we will give you an in-store credit for your class fee.

Beginner Plus~You already know the basics and are ready to expand your skills.

We are unable to give any refund or store credit for classes with out-ofstate visiting teachers if you are unable to attend.

Intermediate~You have sewing experience and are ready to tackle more difficult skills.

Ten days prior to the start of the class, the class is committed to go. After that time, there is no refund or in-store credit for missing a class.

How do you know what you need?! Gene has organized the feet into like groups to help you become familiar with their purpose! A Bernina Educator will show step by step instructions and then we will recreate the project using our own computers! This class is for anyone who already owns Bernina Software (any level) and for those who are interested to know what it is all about! Bring your laptop and Gene will guide you through the project! Then when you go home, embroider it out and bring it back to the next class. For only $10 a session, it is a great introduction to the world of software! MACHINE CARE 101~ALL BRANDS All Levels Gene Looman

$15 Anyone who sews knows that our machines are our babies! We love them dearly and hate to send them to the shop for repair. This workshop will go over how to do a basic cleaning, as well as some tips and tricks to keep your machine running beautifully between servicing. Enjoli is a certified Bernina repair technician and will give you a technician’s inside scoop to the world of sewing machine repair and care. BARGELLO Beginner Plus Cheryl Campbell $60 Bargello quilts are based on needlepoint patterns of the same name.  Undulating waves of color come up to a point and then swoop down to a trough before rising up again.  This dramatic zip sagging pattern offers an ideal use for fabric in your stash, as you will need a wide selection of different colors/prints to complete it.  While the bargello pattern looks complicated, it takes more trick than talent to complete this design. You will learn ways to add texture to elements in your quilts. Look forward to a little free motion thread work, (oops, I mean play!), creating texture for tree bark and branches, and more. PET BED ~Community Service All Levels Cheryl Campbell FREE Donate minutes to hours for sewing dog & cat beds for animals in shelters. Save your fabric scraps for to be used for the bed stuffing. Donate fabric yardage (stash that no longer inspires you) pillowcases and sheets and we will sew them into usable pet beds. Saturday, October 19 12:00-4pm

PENGUIN FAMILY Beginner Plus Karen Smith $40 We will be creating an adorable penguin family using a fun mixture of fabrics. Each penguin is made the same way, so you can pick the size you want to make and then make more later on. I will also show how to make Kansashi Flowers using a really neat Clover notion and coordinating fabrics. These penguins use basic sewing skills and are fairly easy to construct. In this class you will do several exercises to learn a variety of techniques to make leaves your embellishment. Some examples are in the quilt, others are not. This workshop will go over how to do a basic cleaning, as well as some tips and tricks to keep your machine running beautifully between servicing.
