PARKING BOOK 7 WORKSHOP
OTTAWA AREA
The 2013 Parking Workshop & Supplier Showcase will be taking place at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Centre in Kitchener on September 16 & 17.
The next Book 7 Training course of 2013 will be held in Rockland on May 9.
This event will give delegates the opportunity to learn from informative speakers, network with colleagues in the parking industry and see the latest in equipment and technology. The OTC website will have preliminary information regarding the Workshop in the next few days. Save the date!
The OTC Book 7 training course has been developed to provide requirements for traffic control in work zones during roadway construction and maintenance operations on or adjacent to public roads. This 1-day course is designed to instruct supervisors and installers on how to safely set up, operate, and remove temporary traffic controls.
ANNUAL
CONFERENCE Plans are underway for the 63rd Annual OTC Conference which will be taking place at the Holiday Inn in Sarnia from June 2– 4, 2013. This will be one of our best Annual Conferences with a wide range of timely and relevant topics and amazing speakers! The Ministry of Transporta on Ontario (MTO) has completed the final dra of the revision to OTM Book 7 – Temporary Condi ons (March 2001). The MTO Traffic Office is providing the final dra for stakeholder consulta on. The final dra will be posted for comments un l July 31, 2013. h p://www.otc.org/PDF/research/OTM_Book7_April_2013.pdf
