TIS INTRO BOOK 7 WORKSHOP

On November 1, the OTC will be holding an introductory/intermediate level training on concepts in Transportation Impact Studies in Oakville.

Our next open Book 7: Temporary Conditions training courses on will be held in Mississauga on October 29.

This workshop will help to identify the additional traffic contribution of a particular site development and provide a basis for estimating roadway improvements attributed to a proposed development to maintain a satisfactory level of service, while ensuring that the recommendations are compatible with the local jurisdiction's road policy.

The OTC’s Book 7 training course has been developed to provide requirements for traffic control in work zones during roadway construction and maintenance operations on or adjacent to public roads. This 1-day course is designed to instruct supervisors and installers on how to safely set up, operate, and remove temporary traffic controls.

ENGINEERING WORKSHOP This year’s Traffic Engineering Workshop will be held at the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston on October 17. These informative sessions will explore current traffic engineering topics. The information will be geared to all traffic professionals from across Ontario.
