OPC 2014 BOOK 7 COURSES

MISSISSAUGA

ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The date for the 2014 Technical Traffic Operations Course has been set for March 31—April 11, 2014.

The next Book 7 Training course of 2014 will be held in Mississauga on March 13.

The 2014 Police Traffic Officers Course will run from March 31—April 2.

The OTC Book 7 training course has been developed to provide requirements for traffic control in work zones during roadway construction and maintenance operations on or adjacent to public roads.

These two courses encourage interaction between engineering and policing personnel and build an understanding of the roles that staff in each field contribute to enhancing safety on Ontario’s roads.

This 1-day course is designed to instruct supervisors and installers on how to safely set up, operate, and remove temporary traffic controls.
