This comprehensive one-day course encompasses all aspects of on-road and off-road bicycle facility safety. The day will begin with an overview of the state-of-the practice in road user safety, common bicycle facility safety issues, and potential contributory factors. The remainder of the course walks the participants through modules on planning and designing on-road, shared use and rural bicycles facilities for safety.

The one-day OTC Parking Workshop is designed to give delegates the opportunity to learn from informative speakers and network with colleagues in the parking industry from across the province.

TIS COURSE Mississauga, October 13 The OTC’s Introductory Transportation Impact Study Course will help to identify the additional traffic contribution of a particular site development and provide a basis for estimating roadway improvements attributed to a proposed development to maintain a satisfactory level of service, while ensuring that the recommendations are compatible with the local jurisdiction’s road policy.
