This Is Why It Is Important To Start With The Big Picture We have established that counseling must have a primary focus on the Person of God You find out what they really think about God
We have established that focusing on God is a reference point, for hope and for stability You find out what they focus on
We have established that hope is a key element in restoring and that Scriptures are central in giving hope You find out what place Scripture has in their lives
We have established the importance of orienting a persons heart toward God’s goals and purposes You find out what they think God thinks about them

COMFORT
1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. God promises in James that wisdom is reproducible
CONFIDENCE
3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. God promises in James that wisdom is supernatural
COURAGE

CONSISTENCY
