FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS INTENDED USE Recessed downlight module that provides a precise 38° full width half max (FWHM) beam angle with an engineered specular upper reflector and a patented micro-prismed lense. Suitable for installation into an existing rough-in section. Also available with a dedicated rough-in section for new construction. IC rated for residential use and wet location listed. CONSTRUCTION Rugged, one-piece, die-cast heat sink design for optimal cooling efficiency. Precisely designed elliptical upper reflector and micro-prismed lense for precise beam control. The optics are fitted tightly to the housing to reduce the ingress of insects and dust. Lower splay recessed optical system into the ceiling to prevent glare and provide a traditional PAR look. Twin torsion springs ensure easy installation. Suitable for installation in standard-height rough-in sections. Fits into most popular 6” housings. See www. lithonia.com for a complete list. Uses 3000K/85 CRI LEDS. Meets ENERGY STAR® requirements. OPTICS The system maintains 70% lumen output at 35,000 hours in a typical IC environment and 50,000 hours in a typical Non-IC environment. ELECTRICAL All electronics are mounted on the module; no access to the junction box is required. Utilizes high-brightness LEDs on a metal core circuit board, ensuring cool-running operation. On-board circuitry to ensure protection against wiring errors. High-efficiency driver mounted on the module. Primary power disconnect provided for simple connection to a standard Edison socket. Leading-edge triac dimming standard; dimming down to 25%. Lighting module should be installed in applications where ambient temperatures do not exceed 35°C. Ambient temperatures that exceed 35°C will result in reduced lamp life and will void warranty. Standard input wattage is 13.2W, 45 lumens per watt. Compatible dimmer switches listed on next page. INSTALLATION Simply follow these five steps to install the module.
Step 1: Screw in the Edison base socket adapter just like you would install a standard incandescent lamp.
Step 2: Plug the male end of the socket adapter into the female end that is attached to the light fixture.
Step 3: Secure the socket assembly to the top of the fixture by pressing the sides of the black springs and inserting them into the notches on the top of the bracket.
Step 4: Compress the springs on the side of the downlight and insert them into the brackets on the inside of the pre-installed recessed housing.
Step 5: Gently press upward until the downlight is snug against the ceiling.
