Kids Sewing Camp - Toodaloo Back Pack Supply List Personalize this cute back pack with your choice of coordinating fabrics and ribbon! If you don’t want to use ribbon, you can use a large button of your choice. This back pack is fully lined, with wide comfy straps, It’s perfect for traveling - who knows the places you will go! Supplies: Sewing Machine in good working order with foot control and power cord, or you can use one of ours Thread Mettler Polyester thread to match fabric* Notions Toodaloo Back Pack Pattern by Carina Gardner* Everything on your General Supply List (see back of sheet)* 1 yard half inch ribbon to go with fabrics or 1 large button for the front of the back pack Fabric 5/8 yard cotton fabric for outside of back pack and straps 3/8 yard coordinating cotton fabric for lining and straps 3/4 yard fusible fleece - this will give the backpack more body that the interfacing the pattern calls for *Items available at Redlands Sewing Center To do before class: Purchase all supplies and bring to class. Please do not purchase flannel, fleece or minky fabric for this project. Light-weight woven cotton fabrics are what is needed. See you there! Miss Brynn
Kids Sewing Camp General Supply List Things to bring every month in your sewing kit: 1. 1 Empty bobbin*, they must be the clear Brother bobbins, available at RSC only 2. Fabric Scissors*, no scissors that have been used to cut paper please 3. Pins with plastic or glass heads*, large heads are easier to use 4. Magnetic pin holder or a box* to put your pins in 5. Seam Ripper* 6. Magnetic seam guide*, available at RSC - we carry the type that is required for our classes 7. Blue water soluble marker* 8. Sewing Gauge* for measuring 9. Schmetz Universal Needles size 80/12* 10.Sewing box or basket* to bring all of your supplies to class 11.Pattern* and project materials as listed on your supply list Put your name on EVERYTHING. Everyone in the class will have the same supplies. It is easy for someone to take your home by accident. *Items available at Redlands Sewing Center. Everything else can be purchased at Joann or Hobby Lobby.
