YAY!!!! A weekend with beautiful weather. Now it feels like Spring! We cannot believe that there are only 44 days left until the end of the school year. Time just goes by way too quickly. We have learned so much, but still have so much more left to do. Kindergarten and First Graders work very hard to learn so many new things. Last week, we began making a poem using similes. A simile compares two things using as or like. For example; He/She was as strong as a bull. It was a little tricky at first, but they all understood and wrote great simile poems. Please send in a seasonal change of clothes for your child. Sometimes they spill, or get wet on the playground, so it’s important we have a change of clothing. I will send back what they have in their cubbies, once I receive new clothing. Thank you for your support.

Message:  Lulu  visited  with  Dougie’s  family  and  had  a  wonderful  time.    He  went  to  Dougie’s  cousin  Ava’s  birthday   party  in  CT.    He  had  to  go  on  the  ferry.    He  loved  it.      Charlotte  had  Lulu  this  past  weekend  for  some  more  fun   and  exciting  adventure.  Lulu  went  to  her  first  soccer  game.    She  was  cold,  but  luckily  she  had  her  blanket  with   her.    Then  Lulu  jumped  on  the  trampoline  with  Charlotte  and  Ida.    Lulu  was  so  high  in  the  sky.    She  loved  it.   This  week  Lulu  goes  home  with  Sophia  on  Friday.
