Requesting Meetings with Mentors WEBSITE 1. Login to the website: http://alinnovationconf.zerista.com 2. Click on the Mentors tab in the main menu
3. To view a mentor’s profile click directly on his/her name to the right of his/her profile icon (shown below with the yellow rectangle). Once you’ve decided which mentor to request a meeting with, click on the calendar icon with a plus sign in the middle of it, the 2nd icon down, to the right of the mentor (shown below with a red arrow and rectangle).
4. Once you click on the calendar icon, you’ll be taken to the meeting editor page. Here you can choose which time to request a meeting with the selected mentor, set the subject line, and add a message with your request.
5. You will see a yellow block labeled “BUSY” in your schedule if you’ve added a session to your schedule or requested a meeting with someone else (regardless of whether the meeting request has been confirmed or is still pending).
7. Click directly on the calendar under the desired time slot. A shaded grey box will then appear in that slot. Add a meeting location, subject line, and a message to the mentor and then click Request Meeting.
8. To review the status of your meeting requests or to make any edits to your current requests scroll up to the top of the page, anywhere within the website, and click on Hi, [FIRST NAME] to open your personal menu (which can also be found on the homepage of the website on the left side of the page under your profile icon and first name). Then click on Schedule within this menu.
9. This will bring you to your personal conference schedule. Above the subject line and to the right of the meeting calendar icon you will see the status of your request (MEETING PENDING, MEETING CONFIRMED, or MEETING DECLINED).
10. To edit a meeting request click on the subject line. In the case above it would be Request Meeting underneath the meeting status.
APP 1. Login to the Alabama Launchpad Conference app. (You can download it in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for “Alabama Launchpad Conference”.) 2. Once logged in, click on the three line icon in the top left corner of the screen to open the main menu.
3. Scroll down and click on the Attendees tab.
4. Click on Filter in the top right corner of the screen.
5. Click on Interests in the sub-menu at the top. Scroll down and click the circle to the left of Mentor, then click Done at the top right of the screen.
6. Click on the mentor name to view their profile or click the circle icon to the right of their name and profile icon to quickly access the meeting request button. Click on Meeting in the grey menu bar below the mentor’s name and profile icon.
7. Fill in the subject line, choose a location, set a time and add a message to your meeting request. Keep in mind that that mentor meetings can only be held from 10:00 am – 12:00pm in 15 minute time slots. Please set your meeting request time accordingly. Click Save in the top right corner of the screen once finished. If you do not set your meeting request time to be 15 minutes within the allotted time (10:00am – 12:00pm) you will receive an error message and your meeting request will not be sent.
8. To review the status of your meeting requests or to make any edits to your current requests return to the app’s main menu. (Click on the three line icon at the top left of the screen.) In the top section of the menu click on the Schedule tab.
9. Click on Meetings in the sub-menu at the top. Click on the meeting you wish to edit or view the status of.
10. Underneath the meeting time, date and location you will see the status of the meeting. To edit the meeting or delete it click the circle icon to the right of the meeting’s status.
Note – + Once you send a meeting request to a mentor they will receive an email + Once you send a meeting request, you will also receive an email + Once the mentor has accepted or declined your meeting request you will receive an email
