Revelation Series Study Sheet Week 27—November 25 Message Title: The throne, the Lamb and the Spirit Text: Revelation 22:6-21
Read Revelation 22:6-21 This passage draws together three central themes in Revelation concerning God the Father, Son and Spirit. Use the questions below to reflect on each of these themes. 1. God the Father What do v8-9 show us about God the Father? What have you learned about God the Father through the book of Revelation (you may want to return to the central image of the heavenly throne room in ch. 4)? What other things do we tend to give our worship and allegiance to instead of God? Why? How can we avoid false worship and centre our lives around God alone? 2. God the Son Three times in this passage Jesus says, “look, I am coming soon!” Why does he emphasise his return? How would your life change if you really believed that Jesus’ return was immanent? What have you learned about Jesus through the book of Revelation? How can you express “Lamb Power” (Jesus’ example of self-giving love) in your life to those around you? 3. God the Holy Spirit In v17 the Spirit is longing for Jesus to come in the future, and inviting us to come to Jesus in the present. What do you need to come to Jesus for that you are currently lacking? Each of the seven letters to the churches (ch 2-3) contains these words: “whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Take a few moments to consider the following questions: -
What has the Holy Spirit been saying to you personally through this series? What impression has he made on your heart?

What has been the most significant thing for you in this series on Revelation? What have you discovered and learned? How can this bring about real change in your life going forward?
