RIBBONS Ribbons volunteers are responsible for attaching race results stickers to place ribbons and filing the ribbons in the family folders. HOME AND AWAY MEETS: Check in with the Head Ribbons volunteer. At home meets, the Ribbons crew will work in a room in the Bella Mar clubhouse behind the Concessions stand. At away meets, the work location will vary. The Head Ribbons volunteer will direct you to the location. The Computers volunteers will deliver printed labels with relay race results for places 1 through 3 for a dual meet and places 1 through 5 for a Divisionals meet (there will be separate labels for all four members of the relay team); and individual race results for places 1 through 10 for a dual meet and places 1 through 12 for a Divisionals meet. 1. Affix each label to the back of the appropriate place ribbon, no matter which team is receiving the ribbon. 2. Keep the completed Stars ribbons in a pile. Put the other team’s ribbons in a different pile. 3. Give the other team’s ribbons to their Ribbons volunteers. 4. File the Stars’ ribbons in the family folders. 5. For second shift volunteers, you must stay at the meet until all Stars ribbons have been filed.
