Welcome to a new school year! Within the next few weeks we will open our school doors to welcome our families to a new year. Together we will work to create a year of great learning experiences for our students, focusing on academics and student leadership moving the Leader In Me process to a new level. We will continue to maintain high expectations where respect, accountability, support and excellence are highly evident! We will focus on making our vision and mission the core of our daily work with students, teachers and parents. Each day we want to challenge the students to become interdependent through the daily use of the 7 Habits where they experience private and public victories. We will build shared understanding about what this means and ways parents and teachers can work together to ensure that every RAP student is a leader! Parents, we know you want the best for your children and so do we! We are on the same team. We are excited to have a community of teachers who are committed to sharing best practices to help your child achieve their goals, along with your support and encouragement throughout the year. We have a lot to be excited about as we move into the new school year where we will inspire “greatness”, one child at a time. Looking forward to a great school year! Ms. Clark, Principal

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 17, 2016. The school day is 8:15 until 3:15. Doors open for student arrival and breakfast at 7:40am (RAS offers free breakfast and lunch). The school doors will not open prior to 7:40am. New families please read the Stop, Drop and Roll Policy for arrival and dismissal procedures as well as other school information. Teacher/Parent Meet and Greet will be held on Monday, August 15th. Times are as follow: Pre-K – 1st Grade @ 5:30pm 2nd – 3rd Grade 6:30pm The Teacher/Parent Meet and Greet is for parents only. No children please.
Teachers will be available on Tuesday, August 16th between the hours of 9:30am – 4:30pm for students to come and meet their teacher and bring in school supplies. Please make sure to label all school items.
The school uniform store is open Monday- Friday 9:00am – 2:00pm. Please call 937-586-9756 for uniform information. The school store is in need of gently used uniform dresses. If you would like to sell your uniform dresses please contact the store or stop by during store hours. Uniform Requirements: Pre-K – 2nd girls are required to wear the green plaid jumper dress. Boys are required to wear navy blue pants, white button down dress shirt with the green plaid school tie. All students must wear a RAS school sweater. Solid blue, black, or dark brown dress shoes are required. RAS/ t-shirts are also required (WestPark Academy t-shirts are required for Pre-K students only). 3rd Grade girls are required to wear the navy blue plaid jumper dress. Boys are required to wear khaki pants, white button down dress shirt with the navy blue plaid school tie. All students must wear a RAS school sweater.
