REFUND AND RESCHEDULE POLICY REFUND AND RESCHEDULE POLICY 1.
Any team that withdraws from the Locomotion tournament either a) more than 30 days prior to the tournament or b) before they have been accepted will receive a full refund within 48 hours of request.

Any team that withdraws from the Locomotion tournament once they have been accepted (including teams that do not attend if the tournament has been rescheduled for any reason) will receive a refund based on the following conditions: a.
Teams will receive a refund only if a replacement team can be found. If the replacement team has been offered a discount on the tournament entry fee or the referee deposit or the replacement team has been offered some other financial incentive to attend the tournament, then the refund to the withdrawing team may be reduced to compensate for the discounted entry fee, referee deposit or other financial incentive.
b.
Once the Team Packets have been mailed, the refund will be reduced for a $50 Materials Fee to cover costs of materials mailed to the teams.
c.
Once a team has received their tournament shirts, pins or other souvenirs, the refund will be reduced by the cost of these items.

Refunds will be returned within 48 hours of request. Refunds will be mailed to the name and address as submitted on the original application. The submitted name and address shall be a Regional Treasurer only. Checks will not be made to or mailed to individuals. If there was no name or address submitted, the refund will be mailed to the Region’s mailing address.

For teams who qualify, referee deposit refunds will be mailed to the address indicated on the application within 14 days of conclusion of the tournament. If there were no coverage problems during the tournament, partial refunds may be made at the discretion of the tournament committee.
Rescheduling the Tournament 1.
Should it become necessary to reschedule the tournament entirely due to inclement weather or other reasons beyond the scope of the Locomotion Tournament, the tournament will be rescheduled to Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, 2016.

In the case of the rescheduled tournament, all teams will be expected to attend on the reschedule dates. Teams will be given until 21 days before the reschedule dates (in this case February 19) to inform the Locomotion Tournament if they will attend or not. Full refunds will be given to any team that drops out by February 19, 2016; after that, should any team find it necessary to withdraw from the rescheduled tournament, they will only receive a refund based on the criteria in Para. 2 in the Refund Policy above.

At the time the tournament reschedule decision is made, the Tournament Committee will determine if the tournament will be continued from the point it was terminated, or if it will be started over. If started over, any games played will be discarded and a revised tournament format, team groupings, rules and game schedule will be announced to fit the 2-day format of the rescheduled date.

All teams will be expected to retain the parking permits they were issued and reuse them at the rescheduled date.
5.
Teams will be allowed to make additional roster changes. Instructions will be announced to all teams once the reschedule decision has been made.
Canceling the Tournament 1.
Should it become necessary to completely cancel the tournament due to inclement weather or other reasons beyond the scope of the Locomotion Tournament, teams will be refunded their entire entry fee and referee deposit, less the amount of any team souvenirs that have already been distributed (i.e. pins, coach’s bags, etc.). In this case, a $50 Materials Fee reduction will not apply.
