Dear residents and business owners, Sydney’s favourite run, The Sun-Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac, is returning on Sunday, August 10. The 14km course takes in the spectacular views and icons of Sydney. The race starts in the Sydney CBD at Hyde Park and takes participants along William Street, past Edgecliff, down into Rose Bay and up into Dover Heights before finally sweeping on to Bondi’s golden arc. Last year’s event saw 85,000 participants take part, with over $5 million raised for charity. Road closures To safely accommodate the huge number of participants and spectators, road closures and special event clearways will be in place throughout the Sydney CBD and the Eastern Suburbs.
