GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION 1982 - 2008 Vice President, GM Powertrain Group (2001-2008) Planning, Sales, Strategic Alliances and New Business Development. Responsible for $2B outside sales activity. Staff in US, Brazil, Germany, Korea and China. Accomplishments: Created $1B licensing portfolio, major deals included automatic transmissions with Ford Motor Company and hybrid drive systems with Daimler, BMW and Chrysler. Negotiated VM Motori 50% equity purchase. Formed Joint Venture with Penske Corporation. Negotiated technology co-development agreements with Toyota, Daimler, BMW and Chrysler.
