ROCKHARBOR Church Costa Mesa Caf Manager About ROCKHARBOR ROCKHARBOR is a non-denominational, multi-campus church located in Orange County, CA. The Costa Mesa Campus was the first of the six ROCKHARBOR campuses with a strong 17-year history. Through weekend celebration services, Life Groups, local and global engagement, and church planting, our vision is to be a church of communities following Jesus as we worship, pray, and love others in Orange County and beyond. About the Caf The Caf at our Costa Mesa campus is about 2 things: tremendously great coffee and a place to find community. We strive to be a place where the people of ROCKHARBOR can connect with one another and enjoy a tasty drink served by our trained baristas at weekend services and special events. We proudly serve Kéan coffee, roasted right here in Newport Beach the same week you drink it, and other quality-focused ingredients. The Caf staff comprises of volunteers who not only love coffee, but love people too! About the position This position is a part time [max 20 hours/week] position. We would like this position to start immediately. This position reports to Katie Bansmer, Costa Mesa Campus Lead Associate. Staff members are expected to adhere to ROCKHARBOR’s leadership guidelines [which can be provided upon request]. ROCKHARBOR Church Caf Manager Primary purpose of position Oversee the continuing operations of the ROCKHARBOR Costa Mesa Caf. Caf Operations Recruit, train, schedule and retain volunteers for the Caf. Develop team leaders and co-leaders, to include scheduling team leader meetings and one-on-ones. Conduct Caf recovery and cleaning following weekend services, as well as supply inventory. Conduct Caf weekend service preparation, including brewing, and general inventory layout. Be responsible for the financial accounting of the café, overseeing and approving deposits, check requests, invoices and cash register. Order supplies and weekly shopping, as needed. Work alongside ROCKHARBOR Costa Mesa ministries to provide midweek coffee service as able. Be present on the weekend to manage and develop Caf volunteers. Work with communications to develop the Caf brand and appropriate signage. Ensure the Caf is continually evolving with new products/services. Ensure the Caf remains a profitable endeavor. Qualifications People-oriented personality with a passion for quality customer service. Passion for developing and empowering volunteers to lead and serve. Hardworking, organized and efficient work ethic. Must be able to lift 20lbs Café or Restaurant experience a plus
