The Hidden Hand of God The Story of Naomi and Ruth
God is watching us.
When God seems the farthest away, He is actually the closest to us.
No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it. I Cor. 10:13 (The Message)
Go’el - The Kinsman Redeemer …a relative who acted as a protector or guarantor of the family rights. He could perform a number of duties for his relative: 1) He could buy back property that the family had sold. 2) He could provide an heir for a deceased brother by marrying that brother’s wife and producing a child with her. 3) He could buy back a family member who had been sold into slavery due to poverty. 4) He could avenge a relative who had been murdered by killing the murderer.
Obedience is doing what you are told to do when you are told to do it, with a right heart attitude.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you. I Peter 5:6
The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. Psalm 28:7
Be the person God wants you to be. Do the things God wants you to do. Leave the matter with God (sit still and see how the matter will turn out) – resist the temptation to take the matter into your own hands and force a resolution.
Get my eyes off my circumstances. Put them on the Lord. Talk to Him and let Him encourage me. Talk to myself and encourage myself with the things of the Lord. God will give me a song in the night.
