Come sew with us in a 3 day, 2 night retreat at the lovely Bluebird Retreat. Located just a few miles to the south of Jenks, Bluebird Lane is a clean, modern facility that offers guests the comforts of a boutique hotel as well as all the amenities that sewers desire! Each sewer will get their own 6’ table to spread out on! You can bring any project (or projects) that you want to sew on, and we might have a surprise project for you too! There will be lots of goodies given out from some of our great venders. All you need to do is call and get signed up with us and pay your $50 retreat fee, then call the Bluebird Retreat center and pay for your lodging which covers lunch and dinner Tuesday, breakfast lunch and dinner Wednesday and brunch on Thursday ($170). Don’t wait as we only have room for 12!

$150 1st Tuesday of the month starting February 7, 10a-1p In this 6 month class you will gain so much confidence in lots of different embroidery techniques. You will learn embroidered appliqué, tufted embroidery, easy piecing and mitered borders, quilting in the hoop, stitching in the ditch and binding. This is a great class for beginners to advanced sewers. Class fee includes all instructions and embroidery designs.

Starts January 13 Do you love to quilt, interact with fellow quilters and enjoy making quilt blocks, then join us for this year’s Second Saturday. We will be using Wilmington, Moda, Benartex and many more fabric vendors to create a beautiful quilt. This year’s inspiration is from the Quilt Block Cookbook by Amy Gibson. The book contains 50 Block Recipes, 7 sampler quilts and endless possibilities. The great thing about this year’s quilt, you can use Amy’s 7 innovative modern sampler patterns, or you can cook up your own one of a kind design! No need to sign up, just show up between 8:30 and 9:00 am the Second Saturday (or Friday before) of every month starting January 13th. Buy your first block and stay for the short program. Then, on the next Second Saturday, bring your completed block, stay for the short program and receive your next month’s block free! No need to sign up, Just show up on January 13th or 14th!! Overlocker Lab
$40 Thursday April 6th 10a-1p or 5:30-8:30p The Overlocker can be used for much more than knits. Integrating this machine into your sewing habits is not only fun, it can save time while providing a professional and durable finish to your sewn work. In this class a Bernina educator will guide you thru creating a Lab Workbook containing stitch samples in a variety of fabric and thread types featuring 4-thread, 3-thread and 2-thread techniques.
Open Sew Day
Tuesdays 10a-5p Would you like to have a place to sew where you could be with friends, or make new friends? Where you would have space to spread out to sew or even baste a quilt? We have our classroom available every Tuesday from 10a-5p and will be happy to help you with any of your class projects that you need to get caught up on!

Did you know that for 2016 we scheduled over 200 same day service appointments? Consequently, we are booking appointments 2 to 3 weeks out. Starting January 1, 2017, we will charge $10 extra for a same day service appointment. For all machines that come in for a same day service we will sharpen a pair of scissors or a rotary blade for no extra charge. So, if you are one of the many that sew daily and don’t want to be without your machine, or if you live more than a hop, skip and jump from the Quilt Sampler and don’t want to make 2 trips then same day service is for you! For those emergency situations, you can pay $45 to rush your machine to the head of the line. We will guarantee your machine in 24 hours if parts are not an issue. We have 2 fulltime mechanics in our Springfield locations and 1 in our Tulsa. So if you need service on your machine then call the Quilt Sampler and get you and your machine taken care of!

RULER PLAY - On A Domestic Machine $100 (or both classes for $175) May 22, 10a-4p Have you ever seen longarm quilters using rulers to keep their lines straight while in free motion? Or maybe executing curves and circles without having to draw on their quilts? Now, Leonie West of Australia has designed a system for domestic machines so that we can use rulers, too! Her rulers are so mathematically precise that you will get beautiful results with a minimum of marking on your quilts. Once you have drawn your placement lines, you are good to go! The Westalee rulers have taken the thought out of figuring out where and how to place the ruler to get the best outcome. No walking foot needed for straight lines, minimal marking for the fancy stuff – this is really fun, easy and time saving!

Come sew with us in a 3 day, 2 night retreat at the lovely Bluebird Retreat. Located just a few miles to the south of Jenks, Bluebird Lane is a clean, modern facility that offers guests the comforts of a boutique hotel as well as all the amenities that sewers desire! Each sewer will get their own 6’ table to spread out on! You can bring any project (or projects) that you want to sew on, and we might have a surprise project for you too! There will be lots of goodies given out from some of our great venders. All you need to do is call and get signed up with us and pay your $50 retreat fee, then call the Bluebird Retreat center and pay for your lodging which covers lunch and dinner Tuesday, breakfast lunch and dinner Wednesday and brunch on Thursday ($170). $150 1st Tuesday of the month starting February 7, 10a-1p In this 6 month class you will gain so much confidence in lots of different embroidery techniques. You will learn embroidered appliqué, tufted embroidery, easy piecing and mitered borders, quilting in the hoop, stitching in the ditch and binding. Starts January 13 Do you love to quilt, interact with fellow quilters and enjoy making quilt blocks, then join us for this year’s Second Saturday. We will be using Wilmington, Moda, Benartex and many more fabric vendors to create a beautiful quilt. This year’s inspiration is from the Quilt Block Cookbook by Amy Gibson. The book contains 50 Block Recipes, 7 sampler quilts and endless possibilities. The great thing about this year’s quilt, you can use Amy’s 7 innovative modern sampler patterns, or you can cook up your own one of a kind design! No need to sign up, just show up between 8:30 and 9:00 am the Second Saturday (or Friday before) of every month starting January 13th. Buy your first block and stay for the short program. Then, on the next Second Saturday, bring your completed block, stay for the short program and receive your next month’s block free! No need to sign up, Just show up on January 13th or 14th!! $40 Thursday April 6th 10a-1p or 5:30-8:30p The Overlocker can be used for much more than knits. Integrating this machine into your sewing habits is not only fun, it can save time while providing a professional and durable finish to your sewn work. In this class a Bernina educator will guide you thru creating a Lab Workbook containing stitch samples in a variety of fabric and thread types featuring 4-thread, 3-thread and 2-thread techniques.
Open Sew Day
Tuesdays 10a-5p Would you like to have a place to sew where you could be with friends, or make new friends? Where you would have space to spread out to sew or even baste a quilt? We have our classroom available every Tuesday from 10a-5p and will be happy to help you with any of your class projects that you need to get caught up on!

Did you know that for 2016 we scheduled over 200 same day service appointments? Consequently, we are booking appointments 2 to 3 weeks out. Starting January 1, 2017, we will charge $10 extra for a same day service appointment. For all machines that come in for a same day service we will sharpen a pair of scissors or a rotary blade for no extra charge. So, if you are one of the many that sew daily and don’t want to be without your machine, or if you live more than a hop, skip and jump from the Quilt Sampler and don’t want to make 2 trips then same day service is for you! For those emergency situations, you can pay $45 to rush your machine to the head of the line. We will guarantee your machine in 24 hours if parts are not an issue. We have 2 fulltime mechanics in our Springfield locations and 1 in our Tulsa. So if you need service on your machine then call the Quilt Sampler and get you and your machine taken care of!

RULER PLAY - On A Domestic Machine $100 (or both classes for $175) May 22, 10a-4p Have you ever seen longarm quilters using rulers to keep their lines straight while in free motion? Or maybe executing curves and circles without having to draw on their quilts? Now, Leonie West of Australia has designed a system for domestic machines so that we can use rulers, too! Her rulers are so mathematically precise that you will get beautiful results with a minimum of marking on your quilts. Once you have drawn your placement lines, you are good to go! The Westalee rulers have taken the thought out of figuring out where and how to place the ruler to get the best outcome. No walking foot needed for straight lines, minimal marking for the fancy stuff – this is really fun, easy and time saving!
