Kathleen was born July 5, 1957 in Washington D.C. to Clara M. Atwater and David E. Everett. Kathleen was a member of Sanford Church of God under the leadership of Pastor David Kimbrell. She attended Miller-Motte College in Fayetteville, NC and received a diploma for massage therapy. She was also a licensed cosmetologist and barber. One of her favorite quotes was “If you have only one smile in you; give it to the people you love.” ~Maya Angelou If you knew Kathleen you know that she lived by this and, she never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Azeez Igbekoyi and brother, Larry Everett. Kathleen is survived by her son, Teddy L. Oliver of the home; sisters, Sandra Everett of Georgia; Deborah Yade of Kernersville, NC; Darleen Degraffeneridte and Sabrina Degraffeneridte both of Washington, DC, Shanatta Degreaffenreidte of Burlington NC and Deanna Degraffeneridte of Texas; brother, Clinton Everett of Snow Camp, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, other relatives and friends.
