The St. Marys historic waterfront is located 8 miles off I-95. Take Exit #3. At the stoplight, turn left and drive to the very end (approx 8 miles). You are now at the waterfront, which is the location of the festival! Exhibit spaces will be on Osborne Street and also St Marys Street.
FESTIVAL TIME Saturday, October 3, 2015, Check-in begins at 5:30 am. Vendor booth spaces will be assigned at check-in, not before. Kiwanis members will meet you at barricades to check you in and provide directions to your booth space. Vendors must be set up for viewing by 9 am and have vehicles out of the festival area. Parking is available on side streets.
NO VEHICLES ALLOWED IN FESTIVAL AREA
1. By order of the St. Marys Police Dept., no fireworks may be sold, including Snap ‘n Pops. 2. No vehicles (motorized, bicycles, or golf carts) allowed in Festival area 9 am – 6:00 pm. 3. Sale of alcohol or use of open containers of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. 4. Oil or grease must be removed by vendor. Do not pour grease into waste water drains. 5. Ensure electrical cords do not create tripping hazards.
ICE and WATER Lang’s Seafood (left of the main stage) may have ice for sale until mid-day. There are only two direct water connections. SALES TAX
9 am–6 pm. All vendors must be packed up and out of the festival area no later than 9 pm.
Vendors are expected to collect sales tax for all sales and file their own returns.
EXHIBITORS BOOTH SPACES
REFUNDS
Total booth size for Arts & Crafts exhibitors is 12’ x 12’. Booth size is 24’ x 12’ for food vendors. Displays may not exceed boundaries. All booth spaces will be designated on street surface (no grass or landscape areas are available). Any exhibitor needing additional space will be expected to reserve two (or more as needed) spaces. Vendors will not be allowed to roam through the festival selling their wares. You must stay in the vicinity of your booth. Tents are welcomed and encouraged. Booth space only is provided by the Kiwanis Club of St. Marys. Vendors must supply own display tables, canopies, props and chairs. All display tables must be professionally constructed and skirted.
Other than non-accepted applications, no refunds will be given. Events will take place rain or shine.
FOOD VENDORS No Vendor May Sell Fish or Other Seafood Items at the Rock Shrimp Festival. Those selling any type of food, water and/or drinks must register as food vendors. You are required to clean your area before leaving. Vendors cooking with oil must use floor covering, sand or other absorbent material. Do not pour oil or grease into storm drains.
