FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER Couples’ Night Out
Twentieth Anniversary Father Joseph Bannon May 11, 2011 marks the 20th anniversary of the passing of our beloved first pastor, Father Joseph Bannon. As first pastor, he along with many faith-filled and courageous parishioners founded Saint Dunstan parish and built a new church. Over the years, to commemorate his life and ministry, a scholarship was established. Annually, a high school graduate from our parish is awarded a $1,000 gift from this scholarship fund. We believe that it is time to replenish this special fund and potentially award two scholarships each year. Would you be willing to support such an effort by donating in memory of Fr. Bannon to assist more young parishioners? For your convenience, you will find a special offering envelope in the bulletin this week. Thank you in advance for your generosity. We are truly grateful for the life and ministry of Father Joseph Bannon…may he rest in the warm embrace of our loving God!
