School Holiday Activities at the Library SHAKESPEAREAN STAGE FOR PRESCHOOL AGE (Tuesday July 12, 10.30am – 11am) A Shakespeare inspired Storytime aimed at 3-5 year olds. Enjoy a dramatic reading of stories for young children and then create your own take-home craft.
A WONKA WINTER’S TALE (Tuesday July 12, 1pm – 2.30pm) A creative writing and drama workshop aimed at confident young writers.
ROALD DAHL GIANT PEACHY PARTY! (Thursday July 14, 11am – 1pm) Dress up, or be dressed up, at this special event – lolly making stall, face painting, BFG inspired dream jars, Roald Dahl book challenge, and much, much more, including a marvellous mystery movie.
COLOURING IN COMPETITION Big Sky Libraries is also running a colouring in competition! Collect and return the artwork to the Moree Community Library. The competition closes Friday July 22.
All events are aimed at young people accompanied by an adult, and are free. Bookings are appreciated and can be made by calling 6757 3374, or visiting the Library at 36 Balo Street. Enquiries for book clubs for young people can also be made.
