SCHOOL OF THE SPIRIT
School of the Spirit LENT 2016 in the United Reformed Church Every second year, the Sanderstead Churches come together in Lent to learn, grow in faith and encourage one another in the way of following Jesus Christ. Thursdays on February 18, 25, March 3, 10, 17. Each evening begins at 8pm, and includes a lively speaker who will help us explore what it means to seek to be a follower of Christ in 2016. We finish at 9pm with refreshments. Speakers will include:
Rev Peter Nodding, Senior Minister at Purley Baptist Church
Rt Rev David Atkinson, formerly Bishop in the Diocese of Southwark, and author of ‘Renewing the Face of the Earth’ on our response to climate change.
Sir Matt Baggott, former Chief Constable of Northern Ireland, and speaker on how the gospel of Jesus can transform communities.
These events will take place at Sanderstead United Reformed Church, Sanderstead Hill, CR2 0HB
