Scott Duncan Scott Duncan is a vice president with FMI Capital Advisors, Inc., FMI Corporation’s registered Investment Banking subsidiary. Scott works with construction industry firms on mergers and acquisitions, valuations and ownership transfer issues. Prior to joining FMI, Scott managed construction materials acquisitions and divestments for Lafarge SA’s business development group in the United States. Prior to Lafarge, Scott worked on the equity research team at BMO Capital Markets, assisting with research coverage of oil and gas exploration and production companies. Scott has also served as a public and governmental affairs representative for the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America in Washington, D.C., and as an advisor to former chairman Michael Oxley of the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. Scott holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Denison University and a master of business administration from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, where he served as president of the student government association.
