Instructional Golf Program Program Overview When: The SPA Instructional Golf Club program is a Fall sport. We will meet on Tuesdays after school from 4:00-5:30 PM. The program will consist of 8 one and a half hour long lessons that will begin on 8/15 and conclude on or before 10/25. We will not have sessions during the week of Fall break. Where: The Instructional Golf Club program will use McDowell Mountain Golf Course. Address: 10690 E. Sheena Dr. Scottsdale, 85255 Who is this for: The Instructional Golf Club Program is open to all SPA students. The program is for both boys and girls that are interested in developing the necessary skills to begin to enjoy the game of golf and that are interested in becoming future members of the SPA competitive Jr High or High School golf team. The program is open to the first 10 students that sign-up. Cost: The standard athletic fee will apply to each member of the Instructional Golf Club program. What will we do? The Instructional Golf program will be conducted in a group clinic format. There will be multiple instructors working with the students during each lesson. The instruction will start with the basic fundamentals of golf and progress to a skills challenge. We will also cover the basic rules and etiquette of the game. How can I find out more information?
