Edinboro and Gannon meet for the second time in 2014-15 with the Fighting Scots looking to even the score after a 76-70 loss at Gannon on January 10. Edinboro has dominated the series in recent years, winning nine of the last 11 meetings, and five straight at McComb Fieldhouse. The Fighting Scots saw their three-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday with a 75-48 loss at California (Pa.). Gannon comes in riding an eight-game streak after handing Mercyhurst a 59-49 defeat on Saturday. The Lady Knights are one of three teams in the PSAC West to clinch PSAC Tournament berths. Edinboro can do so with a win over Gannon or a loss by Mercyhurst. These two teams know each other quite well, having met four times a year ago. The Fighting Scots would win all four meetings, including an 86-76 win in the PSAC Championship game and a 77-69 triumph in the Atlantic Regional semifinals six days later. There will be plenty of talent on the court tonight, including three 1,00-point scorers in Laurel Lindsay, Nettie Blake and Brittany Batts, plus a pair approaching the plateau in Aignee’ Freeland (957) and Mollie Sebald.
