Ensuring that you get a true taste of the local flavour, Gail will introduce you to award winning cheeses, year-round greenhouse produce, great poultry, pork, lamb, and of course, Alberta’s exceptional beef. Loft Cooking School and a Culinary Tour of Downtown How can you experience a real taste of Alberta? By taking in one of the two tour options listed below. After shopping for ingredients at a local market, Gail will lead you in creating delicious masterpieces that capture the heart and essence of Alberta back at her kitchen loft, located in the historic warehouse district of Edmonton’s downtown. Or, head on a foodie adventure and explore the culinary diversity of downtown Edmonton on foot. The tour includes commentary on the history and architecture of the area, food samplings, and the opportunity to do some shopping! Loft Cooking School Private group classes (8 to 20 people) occur on any day or evening of the week, subject to availability. Customized menu available. Classes involving a market experience take place only on Saturdays, subject to availability.

Culinary Tour of Downton Edmonton Number of participants: guaranteed tour, maximum of 10 participants. Time: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Wednesdays, May 1 - September 30, 2015.

$175 per person (plus 15% gratuity and GST)

$50 per person (plus GST)

Terms and Conditions: Loft Cooking School Payment: 50% payment on booking to confirm date. Balance required 30 days prior to class. Culinary Tour of Downtown Edmonton Payment: FIT, full payment required on booking to confirm. Groups, 50% payment on booking, balance 30 days prior to tour date.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellations subject to 10% administration fee. No refund for Group bookings within 30 days of class date or FIT within 15 days of class date.
