Event Details T-Birds fans, round up your friends, family, and co-workers and come out to Safeco Field to honor two Seattle Thunderbirds. Mathew Barzal and Ryan Gropp were selected by the New York Islanders and New York Rangers respectively in this summer’s NHL Draft. Both Mathew and Ryan, joined by head coach Steve Konowalchuk and Cool Bird, will take part in a Ceremonial First Pitch. Make sure to arrive early so you don’t miss any of the ceremony.
