1 OVERVIEW This installation guide explains how to install SECUDRIVE File Server (FS) in the WebDAV environment. For any SECUDRIVE FS features not described in this manual, please see the SECUDRIVE File Server User Manual.
Precautions Please note the following when installing the SECUDRIVE FS program in the WebDAV environment.
OVERVIEW
Windows Server 2012 (IIS 8.0) or later is required to use WebDAV.
If using the DFS with WebDAV paths while the SECUDRIVE FS installed on the DFS server, the IP address of the WebDAV server must be added to the unrestricted IP address list in the FS Manager that is installed on the DFS server.
Once SECUDRIVE FS is installed on the server, WebDAV cannot be accessed from PCs that do not have the PC client installed.
The domain name for WebDAV connection must be registered with the DNS.
This manual is based on Windows 2012 Server and Windows 8.

2 IIS INSTALLATION IIS must be installed on the file server in order to use WebDAV.
Installing IIS Install IIS by following the steps below. 1. Launch the Add Roles and Features Wizard.
2. Select Web Server (IIS) in Server Roles and click Next.

3. On the Features page, click Next.
4. On the Web Server Role (IIS): Role Services page, select the following services and click Next. a. Security > URL Authorization b. Security > Windows Authentication c. Security > Digest Authentication d. Security > Basic Authentication

5. Click Install.
6. When the installation is complete, click Close.

Configuring IIS When the IIS installation is complete, change the IIS settings as shown below. 1. Launch the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
2. Remove the Default Web Site which is provided with IIS by default.

a. The FS website will be created automatically during SECUDRIVE FS installation.

3 SECUDRIVE FS Manager This section explains how to install the SECUDRIVE FS program and configure WebDAV.
Installing Manager Program Install the SECUDRIVE FS program.
During the SECUDRIVE FS program installation, select the Use secure web folder option.

Finish installing the SECUDRIVE FS program by referring to the User Guide. After installing the SECUDRIVE FS program, launch FS Manager.
After launching the SECUDRIVE FS Manager program, the FS Web Site will be created automatically in IIS.

If using https, configure SSL certificate for FS Web Site.
Adding WebDAV Folders Sharing Local Folders This section explains how to add local folders to WebDAV.
Security Policies > Shared Folders > Web Folder 1.

Click Add Shared Folder.

2. Click the “…” button to specify a local folder to share on WebDAV.
3. Specify a shared folder name and click OK.

4. Click the Add Group or User button.
5. Select users or groups who will be allowed access to the shared web folder and click OK.

6. Set permissions for the users or groups added.
7. To add more folders, repeat the steps for adding folders and adding users as many times as necessary.
Sharing DFS Paths This section explains how to share DFS paths on WebDAV.
NOTE
If the FS program is installed on the DFS server, the IP address of the WebDAV server must be added to the list in Environment > Unrestricted IP of the FS program installed on the DFS server.

2. Enter the DFS path information in the Add a Shared Folder window. a. Enter the DFS path under Path and enter WebDAV shared name under Share Name.
b. After entering the DFS admin account in User Name and the admin password under Password, click OK.

3. Click Add Group or User.
4. Add groups or users who will be allowed access to the WebDAV folder.

5. Set WebDAV permissions for the groups or users added.

4 SECUDRIVE FS PC Client The PCs using WebDAV connections must have PC Client installed and running.
Installing PC Client Program Directly install the PC Client program using the MSI installation package or distribute the PC Client program using the GPO feature of AD and install it. Finish installing the PC Client program by referring to the SECUDRIVE FS 6.0 User Guide.
Running PC Client Program Launch the PC Client program by selecting Start > Programs > SECUDRIVE FS > SECUDRIVE FS PC Client. Once the PC Client has been launched, it can be opened by double-clicking the PC Client program icon in the Windows system tray.
Adding WebDAV Server If the PC Client program is installed using the automatic WebDAV server registration feature, the WebDAV server is automatically registered when running PC Client. If the WebDAV server is not automatically registered or if you wish to add more WebDAV servers, you can add WebDAV servers manually. Open the PC Client program and click the Add button.

Enter the WebDAV server address in the Server Name field and enter the User Name and Password.
The server address must start with HTTP or HTTPS.
NOTE
If you have logged into the PC with an AD account, the User Name and Password fields are automatically filled with the AD account information.
The WebDAV server is added.

Connecting WebDAV Drive Connecting PC Client Program to WebDAV Server Connect the PC Client program to the WebDAV server by following the steps below. 1. Open the PC Client program. 2. Click Connect for the WebDAV server.
3. Check that the WebDAV server is connected. Once connected, you can view security policy of the WebDAV server.

Accessing WebDAV Server After connecting the PC Client program to the WebDAV server, map a network drive to the WebDAV server. 1. Open Computer and select Map network drive.
2. Enter the WebDAV path in Folder and click the Finish button. a. The WebDAV path entered when mapping a network drive must be in the format of http://[WebDAV server IP address or domain name]/[shared folder name] or https://[WebDAV server IP address or domain name]/[shared folder name].

NOTE
The WebDAV address (http://webdav.secudrive.co.kr) entered when mapping a network drive must be the same as the WebDAV server name (http://webdav.secudrive.co.kr) added to PC Client. If the WebDAV server was added to PC Client using https, https must be used when mapping the network drive also.
